Spring Rain
Li Shangyin
Lying in sorrow in the new spring, wearing a white lined robe,
At the White Gate, all is desolate, my wishes often thwarted.
The red mansion, seen through the rain, looks cold and distant;
With a beaded curtain and a drifting lantern, I return alone.
On the distant road, one must grieve at the spring dusk;
In the waning night, I can still catch a faint dream.
How can I send my jade earrings and sealed letter?
Across ten thousand miles of cloud-woven sky, a single wild goose flies.
